Primary Care (Internal Medicine)

Mount Sinai Doctors-Long Island offers patients the high-quality care for which Mount Sinai is known, right here in the convenience of our Suffolk County community. Our board certified physicians provide a wide range of primary care services, including preventive medicine, annual physicals, vaccinations, pre-operative consultations, and evaluation and treatment of a variety of acute and chronic illnesses.

Patients are encouraged to select a primary care physician (PCP) from among our board-certified internists. Dedicated to the overall care of the patient, our PCPs are trained in the care of adults 18 years of age and older. This physician sees the patient for routine visits and becomes familiar with his or her needs, establishing a long-term relationship.

Because we believe in the importance of personalized medicine, our team takes the time to build a relationship with you and your family so that we can answer all your questions and make sure you completely understand any treatments you may need. Through this combination of comprehensive care and individualized attention, our office is pleased to provide the care you and your family need for long-term health.

Mount Sinai Doctors-Long Island provides individualized care throughout a patient’s lifetime, offering complete primary care, including physical examinations, routine health screenings, and treatment of chronic and acute illnesses. Our physicians also offer immediate care and coordination of ancillary, specialty and preventive care services. Patients at Mount Sinai Doctors-Long Island have access to the advanced treatments and innovations of the entire Mount Sinai Health System.

Scheduling an Appointment

Patients are seen by appointment only. We encourage patients to call early to ensure they will be accommodated. For immediate care needs, patients may be seen by their primary care physician, schedule permitting. If their primary care physician is unavailable, another physician designated to see urgent cases will attend to the patient. Our state-of-the-art electronic medical records system enables physicians to access important patient information in a timely manner. We have offices in several convenient locations.

Understanding the importance of convenient care, we are pleased to serve our community with plenty of parking, onsite lab and imaging services, easy scheduling, and extended hours. Our location within a multispecialty office also means patients have easy access to a range of other medical fields, from allergy and cardiology to urology and our Women’s Center.
